You can join the waitlist by placing a $250 pre-deposit. This will guarantee your place in line to pick out the perfect puppy for you. Pre-deposits are always refundable or can be put towards a future litter if what you are looking for is not available. Please note that I always retain the right of first choice from any liter to hold back for our breeding program. A pre-deposit agreement is attached at the bottom of this page. Contact me with any questions. If you have sent a $250 pre-deposit, you will be asked to send an additional $250 once you select a puppy. At that point the funds are considered a "deposit" and would be non-refundable.
I will hold a puppy of your choice for a $500 non-refundable deposit. This deposit is applied to the total purchase price of the puppy.
The price listed for each puppy is their pet price. This does include registration papers (ASDR), but they will be "limited" which means you do not have the right to register a litter of puppies if you do breed the dog in the future. In some cases breeding rights are available for an additional cost. This is a case by case basis, as not every puppy is breeding quality. Please contact me if you are interested in receiving breeding rights with your puppy.
I can help with transportation arrangements and send puppies across the USA and in some cases internationally. I prefer to use a Pet Nanny service, that is a person to fly in cabin with your new puppy and meet you at an airport in your area. Pricing on this service depends on current airfair prices and availability. Transporting via pet-safe air cargo within the USA is an option depending on the weather conditions. You can expect this to cost around $500, which includes airfare, health certificate, and travel crate. Price may change based on fluctuation of airfare prices.
I am also available to meet you at Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) if you prefer to travel yourself.
I guarantee the health of all of my puppies - meaning I guarantee that puppies are free of communicable diseases, in good health, and of stable temperament having been well socialized. Puppies will have received age appropriate vaccinations and have been dewormed at least three times (usually at week 4, 6, and 8) prior to leaving for their new homes. See purchase agreement for specifics. All of my adult/parent dogs have been screened for genetic problems seen in the breed. This is done through https://www.pawprintgenetics.com/ and https://www.OFA.org
I do have a purchase agreement that I require buyers to sign. This outlines the responsibilities I have to the buyer and that the buys has to the puppy. I have attached an example of a purchase agreement at the bottom of the page. Purchasing a puppy for Shooting Stars Ranch is like joining a family. I am committed to being a life-long support person for you and your puppy.
I am always happy to talk to you about my program. I am also available to help you make sure you have everything you need before you're new puppy arrives. For first-time puppy owners, I can offer tips for training and care.
This is my pre-deposit agreement
You can see an example of my purchase agreement here. I will send a personalized agreement to you to sign.
